Doug Kramer surprises Chesca Garcia on their 12th anniversary
Doug Kramer shows his unfading love for his wife Chesca Garcia by surprising her on their wedding anniversary.
In celebration of their 12th year of marriage, Doug put a ring hidden inside Chesca's bowl of rice.
He shared the surprise on his Instagram TV, he wrote in a post, "Surprise in the rice! The whole surprise wasn't even planned. I was supposed to give my 12 year anniversary gift tonight, but I couldn't wait! Sa rice na lang ilagay! Haha!"
He added a message, "To my Chesca, the longer we have lasted, the more I love you! Happy 12 year anniversary sweetheart! Happy 17 years together!"
Doug said in his video, "We've been together since 2003, so that's 17 years together and 12 years married. But I was able to get her something special for our anniversary, and there's a significance to it and I'm planning to put it in her rice."
Doug also mentioned he disinfected the ring before placing it inside Chesca's bowl of rice.
He also documented Chesca's initial reaction to the surprise which took place while they were having lunch.
Doug was recording behind a camera while greeting Chesca a happy anniversary.
While Chesca was trying to scoop out rice from her bowl, she really was surprised to find a ring.
The mom-of-three was flabbergasted, “Sabi ko, 'bakit may stapler dito?' Why did you put it on the rice? And now it's sticky.”
Chesca responded to the surprise with a lengthy message on her Instagram. "Happy 12th year of togetherness as husband and wife!
"Thank you for today's surprise! I thought there was a stapler pin in my rice cup... little did I know it was your gift for me. Thank you sweetheart, I love it!️
"I would have to say this though, that would have meant nothing to me if I didn't have all your love! I honestly cannot ask for anything more,because to me, you being present and involved in our marriage is what matters the most.
"My lover and friend, your time,love, devotion,respect, attention,spiritual leadership,and our moments as husband and wife cannot be bought-they come naturally when you love and treasure the person you're with.
"How thankful I am that I don't need to beg those from you! That means the heavens to me! I love you baby! I appreciate all that you're! I thank God for giving me the best!️ @dougkramer
In 2019, Doug and Chesca moved in to their new house outside of Manila with their kids Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin.
