Are Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo getting married this October?

Bubble Gang star Lovely Abella revealed in her recent guesting on Tunay na Buhay that she and her fiancé Benj Manalo have decided to make changes in their wedding plans amid the pandemic.

The engaged couple originally planned to wed in January 2021 but due to everything that has transpired in their lives during the quarantine period, they decided to do it sooner.

Lovely told Tunay na Buhay host Pia Arcangel that they are planning to tie the knot in a civil wedding ceremony this October.

“Nung dahil din po sa experience ko po doon sa aking COVID journey, 'yun po 'yung na-realize ko, at saka siya (Benj) po 'yung nagsabi na, 'Tara, babe. Magpakasal na tayo, kahit civil lang.' Kaya baka po this October po namin itutuloy.”

Her fiancé Benj also expressed how grateful he is to have Lovely as his life partner and soon-to-be wife.

“Siya yung naging balancing factor ng pagiging seryoso ko. Parang simula nang makilala ko siya I've been in the happiest ever sa buhay ko.

“So, knowing that I'm just really thankful and hindi ko siya kayang mawala sa'kin.”

Lovely and Benj first met in a celebrity dance contest and got engaged on June 11, 2019, after five years of being together. Benj popped the question to Lovely in a surprise proposal that was disguised as a music video shoot.
