Rabiya Mateo's boyfriend pens heartfelt message for her birthday

Aside from winning the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines crown, Rabiya Mateo is also lucky to have a very supportive boyfriend,

Rabiya is currently in a relationship with Neil Salvacion for six years already.

Neil, who iis Rabiya's first boyfriend, is a nurse working in the St. Luke's Medical Center.

Neil brought kilig to fans after posting his sweet message to Rabiya marking her 24th birthday last November 14.

He shared, “I still get so emotional and felt so surreal seeing you achieving all the dreams and harvesting all the blessings you deserve for all the hardworks you've done since you were young.”

He also mentioned that Rabiya sacrificed so much in the past to reach where she is now.

For his part, Neil said that he learned a lot being with his longtime girlfriend.

“Being proud is an understatement to what I feel towards your success, you've sacrificed so much in life but manages to remain optimistic in whatever situation you've faced,

“I've learned so much in life thru you, and I know you'll use the influence you have to spread kindness and optimism to whoever you'll meet along the way.

“Stay Phenomenal my love!!! I LOVE YOU.”

In a previous interview with 24 Oras, Rabiya described Neil as a very understanding boyfriend.

"I know he knows how busy and my responsibility as a future representative of our country, and it's just a year.

“Six years na po kami. We've been through highs and lows and as of the moment, what I need and I know he's going to give it to me is understanding," she said.
