Alyssa Valdez pleads to fans amid breakup with Kiefer Ravena: 'Avoid making up stories'

Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez reminds fans to avoid making up stories amid breakup with her longtime boyfriend, basketball star Kiefer Ravena.

In a Twitter post today, May 26, the Creamline volleyball player reposted an official statement by her talent management VMG Asia.

In the said tweet, Alyssa also wrote, "Please avoid making up stories & spreading false rumors. Thank you for all the love.”

In a separate tweet, VMG Asia confirmed the couple's breakup and requested fans to respect Alyssa's privacy.

The statement read: "A lot of speculation has been made. We appreciate the concern, but this decision does not involve any other party. Let us avoid making up stories & spreading false rumors. We hope that everyone can respect Alyssa's decision to keep things private.

"Thank you to all the fans who have loved and supported Alyssa through the years. We know you will continue to be there for her.

"This will be the only time we will address this matter. We will not be entertaining interviews or questions. Thank you for your understanding.

“Please avoid making up stories & spreading false rumors.

“Thank you for all the love.”

Both Alyssa and VMG Asia, however, did not clarify if their statements were about the breakup rumor.

Following the release of the statements, the names of Alyssa, Kiefer, and KiefLy quickly became a top trending topic on Twitter Philippines.

The couple has been dating for six years already. Alyssa just recently finished her stint in the SEA Games held in Vietnam with the national volleyball team.

Meanwhile, Kiefer Ravena is playing with the Shiga Lakestars in the Japanese B. League.
