For Mark and Nicole, there's no better way to celebrate than with some R&R.
Mark Herras and his wife Nicole Donesa marked their first year as a married couple with some dedicated time for rest and relaxation.
In her Instagram post, Nicole shared a family photo with their son Mark Fernando (fondly called Corky) with a magnificent view of the mountains in the background.
“Good Morning from our beautiful view. Rest & Relaxation is what is needed when you're celebrating your first year of the married life,” Nicole said in her caption.
Nicole also shared several shots of the serene place they were staying at for the occasion.
Mark and Nicole tied the knot on September 8 last year and Nicole included a little “disclaimer” in her caption for not posting on the actual day of their anniversary.
“Sept. 8 was really the occasion of our first wedding anniversary/Mama Mary's Bday. Wasn't able to post at all yesterday due to connection & hectic packing with a 1 yr old,” she explained.
With a slight tease to her husband, Nicole ended the post saying, “Love you itchy… (sometimes) hahaha.”
