Mavy Legaspi, Kyline Alcantara not 'tired' of each other

Sparkle stars Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi, the stars of the upcoming series Zero Kilometers Away, may have known each other for years, but they admit they are not tired of each other and even appreciate each other's presence.

Asked if they are not getting tired of each other for being together off and on cam on their interview on the “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast, Mavy only shook his head while Kyline gave a definitive "No" for an answer.

“No. I really appreciate his presence, you know, in general. It calms me down, nakakarelax,” Kyline explained.

The actress said that while there are moments when they have misunderstandings, they both understand that it's part of life and their friendship.

“Hindi po talaga nakakasawa because we know that we're growing individually and together and feeling ko 'yon naman po talaga 'yong importante,” she added.

How do they balance work and personal time? Mavy answered, “Siguro talagang nag-click lang talaga po kami. Kasi for the longest time 4 years na kaming magkaibigan ni Kyline e. At halos almost if not every day, every other day kami magkasama ni Kyline,” Mavy said.

He added, “I think 'yong importante sa amin is 'yong pagiging transparent kasi doon namin talaga nalalaman ng character ng isa't isa, 'yong transparency, kasi kung may tinatago ka man tapos bigla ka lang sasabog one day, unhealthy rin 'yon e.”

While being transparent with a partner can be tricky and might irritate the other, Mavy said that they don't filter anything out “kasi we're both asking for it.”

“Siyempre transparent kami but at the same time hindi kami bastos sa isa't isa na parang we're gonna be insulting,” the actor said.

“Transparency will always come from a place of love, nanggagaling naman sa puso 'tsaka iniisip namin yung mga buhay ng isa't isa, it's not to insult, it's never to frustrate the other,” he added.

Kyline, however, said that to this day, they are still trying to figure out each other.

“I think that's you know the beauty of it, kasi at least we know each other's boundaries and alam naman kung ano na ba talaga 'yong current state ng isa't-isa,” she added.

Mavy added, “So in connection to kanina, kaya po kami hindi napapagod sa isa't-isa kasi we're always, even the small things every day laging may lesson e, which is something so special.”
