It's not even summer, but Kapuso couple Mikael Daez and Megan Young are setting the heat high with their latest island getaway to El Nido, Palawan.
Mr. and Mrs. Daez have recently been sharing their adventures on Instagram. Since landing on the island, they have enjoyed a relaxing time at the beach -- mostly kayaking, island hopping, and hunting for some sea caves, which the island is famous for.
Mikael and Megan have recently shared their plans for 2021, including experiencing a more provincial life by saying goodbye to their Manila condo and relocating to Megan's hometown in Subic.
In their podcast titled “Goodbye, Manila! We're changing our lives forever!” the husband and wife shared that the balik-probinsya move will not be for good but more of a test run before finalizing their decision and purchasing a home in the countryside.
Mikael said, “Just to show you guys how serious we are about this, before shooting this podcast, we came from Subic. We drove up there in the morning, stayed there for around two to three hours to check out this new place that we're trying to rent para may trial run kami doon.”
Megan added, “I really want to decorate the place that we move to. Because we've been renting this place, and it's been really awesome, but I want to make it our own. I want to put a little part of us in our home.”
While it's not surprising that the two are opting for a more laid back lifestyle given their many travels to many beaches together, their latest trip to El Nido just goes to show that you can't separate these two from basking in the sun and diving into the beautiful waters that the Philippines has to offer.

It's only the second month of the year 2021, and it seems like Mikael Daez and Megan Young have already traveled to many parts of the country, including their latest destination El Nido, Palawan! The beach trip is their latest addition to their travel list since coming from Boracay last month.
In an interview with the press, Mikael and Megan stressed that the first thing they want to do once the travel ban is lifted is to promote local tourism to bring light to many small businesses affected by the pandemic.
Of course, a travel must-do when going to a beach is capturing the beautiful sunset.

Although the beach is only a stone's throw away, their hotel also provides many accommodations giving Mikael and Megan a well-deserved relaxation.

After a full day of activities, Mikael Daez seemed to have exhausted all of his energy as he didn't shy away from finishing his food and sleeping in the boat while returning to their hotel.
