Manila Ocean Park is now open to visitors

By Racquel Quieta

One of the popular tourist attractions in the city of Manila, the Manila Ocean Park, has finally reopened its doors to the public.

On Thursday, October 21, its reopening ceremony was led by Manila Vice Mayor Dr. Honey Lacuna, who cut the ribbon and even interacted with some sea friends at the park.

Since the threat of COVID-19 still remains, safety protocols will be strictly implemented at the Manila Ocean Park.

Upon arrival, the park staff will be checking the temperatures of visitors before allowing them entry to the premises.

Plus, there's an online app for contact tracing where guests will check in and out.

While inside the park, wearing of face masks, observing social distancing, and frequent hand sanitization will also be observed.

Visitors are encouraged to buy tickets online so they can skip the queues.

The Manila Ocean Park is open from Thursday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
