Joyce Ching explores El Nido with husband Kevin Alimon

By Jansen Ramos

Joyce Ching took her much-needed vacation with her husband, Kevin Alimon, after finishing her two-month locked-in taping for the new GMA Afternoon Prime series Raising Mamay.

The couple flew to El Nido, Palawan for their summer trip this year. According to Kevin, this was their first airplane ride together.

They snorkeled, went kayaking, and swam in the teal waters of El Nido.

Joyce and Kevin also enjoyed mundane things in the famous island like eating gelato and watching the sunset by the beach.

Joyce and Kevin married in a Christian ceremony in December 2019 in Baguio City.

According to the actress in the virtual media conference for her past primetime mini-series I Can See You: AlterNate, she and Kevin do not have baby plans for now as they want to bond more as husband and wife by traveling together.

Since their wedding, the two haven't traveled enough because of the concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Joyce shared, "'Yung pagbe-baby, parang medyo wala pa siya sa picture or wala pa siya sa plano ngayon kasi nga since 2019 kami kinasal and then 2020 nagkaroon ng lockdown, wala rin kaming na-experience outside the home, parang after namin ikasal, na-lock in lang kami sa bahay 'tapos di na kami nakapag-travel. Parang gusto pa namin i-enjoy 'yung buhay mag-asawa na kaming dalawa lang.

However, she said that it will be a big blessing if she gets pregnant even if it's not on their plans yet.

"But if ibigay ni Lord or magkaroon naman ng baby, anytime tatanggapin naman namin 'yun wholeheartedly."
