Alden Richards' advocacy for education is deeply personal in the GMA Public Affairs documentary special 'Rebuilding Broken Rooms.'
In the documentary, Asia's Multimedia Star shared that he relates to the students he met in public schools across different parts of the Philippines.
"Growing up, I wasn't really able to finish my studies. Struggle lang when it comes to the financial," he said.
Calling the documentary “very special” to him, Alden said that as an advocate of education, “I feel for the kids.”
'Rebuilding Broken Rooms' premiered on Saturday, August 8, at 9:30 p.m. on GMA.
