Singer Alynna Velasquez took to social media to express her grief over the passing of her longtime partner, OPM icon Hajji Alejandro.
In a heartfelt video post, Alynna was seen visiting Hajji's star at the Eastwood City Walk of Fame. Dressed in all black and holding a bouquet of flowers, she paid tribute in a quiet emotional moment.
The area was thoughtfully decorated with candles and a portrait of Hajji -- which Alynna gently kissed as a gesture that spoke volumes of love and loss.
She wrote in the caption,“I was unable to go to your wake for reasons I don't have control of. But I am glad I am here to pray for you and watch your star shine!”
Alynna extended her thanks to Eastwood City Walk of Fame for allowing her to honor the late OPM legend in such a special way.
She added, " You truly are a legend and your wonderful music will live on forever. We love you so much! Hajji Alejandro."
Fans quickly flooded the comments with condolences and messages of support, honoring the memory of the OPM icon.
Alynna also penned a moving tribute online, recalling the cherished memories they shared until Hajji's final days.
"We spent the last 8 days of your life together. I am grateful to your kids Ali and Rachel for reaching out to me. I have been waiting. I think of you every hour of every day," she wrote.
In a heartbreaking revelation, Alynna shared that Hajji passed away on the same day as their 27th anniversary.
"Love ko... you tried to hold on...you know it is our special day today. But your human body gave up on you. Thank you... thank you for your love," she said.

Earlier this year, Alynna revealed in an interview that the OPM icon has been battling stage four colon cancer and experienced seizure due to infection.
