Ellen Adarna reacts to 'good provider' tag on Derek Ramsay: 'Let's stop being delusional'

Ellen Adarna challenges claims that her ex-husband, Derek Ramsay, is a good provider, saying “stop being delusional" and to look at the numbers.
She also called out entertainment reporter Christy Fermin for her “misleading and unfair” statements about the actor.
Ellen on Friday reposted a video showing herself, Derek, and their daughter, Lilian or Lili. A voice-over of Christy could be heard saying that it was the actor and his mother who provided the four house helpers Ellen has, as well as the allowance for their daughter.
The actress set the record straight on the same post and said, "Credit should always be given where it is due.”
In a lengthy text, she also wrote,
“Last month, I told his [assistant], 'No sustento, no Lili. That's simple.' I am not demanding anything beyond what is fair—but I will not allow a father to live comfortably just cooling his balls while contributing little to nothing for his child—just because he gets to see her every day.”
Ellen added that Derek only provided a credit card with a PhP50,000 limit after she called him out to support their child. However, she revealed that it only covers 55.80 percent of Liana's total expenses.
She also clarified that neither Derek nor his mother paid for her yaya or house helpers. She stated that she paid for her staff, which included five nannies—two of whom are assigned to Liana. However, they only paid for one nanny for Liana.
“I paid for my own groceries. They did not provide a house for me—I did that myself. Let's not rewrite history. So please, let's stop being delusional and stop branding someone a 'good provider' when the numbers and reality say otherwise,” Ellen said.
The actress noted that a good provider gives willingly to their child and does not wait to be called out.
“He takes initiative. He doesn't rely on words, flexing, or public image,” Ellen stressed at the end of her post.
