One year after the sorrowful passing of the Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor, her loyal fans, the “Noranians,” gathered once again to commemorate her first death anniversary today, April 16.

A social media post from the late actress's fan page showed supporters who had started gathering at the Libingan ng mga Bayani at the crack of dawn to visit her final resting place.

In other posts, several fans on the same social media page shared video clips showing crowds of supporters gathered around Nora's resting place, braving the intense heat.

The fans who visited the late “Ate Guy” also spent time there sharing a meal together, using the food they each brought while commemorating the life of their beloved idol.

“Mainit ang panahon ngunit mas mainit ang pagmamahal ng mga Noranians kay Ate Guy,” written in the caption of one of the video.

The group also offered flowers at the late star's tomb as a gesture of respect.

In another video, Nora's industry friend and veteran actress Boots Anson-Roa was also seen arriving at the grave to pay her respects on this first death anniversary, accompanied by several of the late actress's fans.

Nora's son with actor Christopher de Leon, Ian de Leon, also visited his late mother at her resting place a year after her passing.

Ian was also seen happily interacting and talking with his mother's supporters and fans.

Meanwhile, a netizen shared a photo of the late National Artist's children, Matet de Leon, Lotlot de Leon, and Kenneth de Leon, together with their own children after celebrating a Holy Mass dedicated to the first anniversary of their mother's passing.

They were also joined by the Diamond Star, Maricel Soriano.
