It's been eight months ever since Celeste Cortesi won the Miss Universe Philippines crown, and now all the hard work she's poured into those eight months is about to see the payoff as the Miss Universe coronation night is just a week away.
Celeste just recently arrived in New Orleans after undergoing training and spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in Los Angeles, and she's already working hard to make sure that she is turning heads.
During the pageant's registration, Celeste had on a sparkly purple dress , wearing her sash as she stands beside the sashes of the other pageant competitors.
Even with her striking looks, the Miss Universe Philippines organization is not taking any chances, calling on Filipinos to help Celeste “carve her path” to the crown by voting on the Miss Universe app.
Whether Celeste comes home with the newly revealed “Force for Good” crown is yet to be seen, but she is making sure that she's top of mind from her first few days in New Orleans.
