Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo to receive a grand homecoming

Current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo continues her victory lap after winning the Miss Universe Philippines crown.
The official Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account reposted an announcement from Bulacan Tourism announcing the homecoming arranged for Chelsea back in Bulacan. The post's caption called on pageant fans to show their support for Chelsea as she represents the country in the Miss Universe pageant.
Chelsea's Bulacan homecoming is set on June 8, 8 a.m., at the Bulacan Capitol Building. After a short program, Chelsea will take part in a parade that will take her from the Capitol Building to the Malolos-Guiguinto Boundary Arch, which is a 13-minute drive away.
The homecoming this weekend is just the latest activity for Chelsea Manalo in the first few weeks of her Miss Universe Philippines reign. Just a day ago, the Miss Universe Philippines official Instagram account posted photos of her as the Reyna ng mga Sampaguita at a Sampaloc, Manila Santacruzan parade. Chelsea had on an elaborate pale peach Filipiniana gown that she paired with an equally elaborate fan.
Aside from the Santacruzan parade, Chelsea also attended a Pride Month event organized by LoveYourselfPH, a volunteer community providing free HIV testing, counseling, treatment, and life coaching. in the caption to the post, the organization shared that Chelsea stressed the “importance of being an ally to the community and pride in being your authentic self.”
Chelsea was also a guest on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, an experience that she says was a checked item on her bucket list.
Chelsea also made sure to stop by GMA morning show Unang Hirit during her first day out as Miss Universe Philippines, as well as met some members of the media at a small press conference.
