Naglabas na ng desisyon ang Pasay Regional Trial Court (RTC) tungkol sa mga reklamo na isinampa laban sa aktres na si Neri Naig.
Kaugnay ito sa dating 'di umano'y scam ng isang partnered beauty clinic, kung saan nasangkot din ang comedienne na si Rufa Mae Quinto.
Base sa inilabas na pahayag ng FLO Attorneys-at-Law, ibinasura ng korte ang mga reklamo dahil wala silang nakitang guilty charges sa aktres.
Nakasaad sa isang press statement, "...Branch 112 of RTC Pasay City ordered the dismissal of the syndicated estafa complaint against Miranda upon motion of the Office of the City Prosecutor of Pasay City, which found no probable cause to indict Miranda upon reinvestigation sought by her legal counsel."
Ayon rin daw sa presiding judge na si Ronald August Tan, "Glaringly, the private complainants never alleged being defrauded by [Miranda]... More mind-boggling is that private complaints never asserted having personally transacted with or handed over money to [Miranda].... Therefore, the evidence presented indeed fails to establish that [Miranda] committed the crime of Estafa, moreso, Syndicated Estafa."
Inilabas ng korte noong January 20 ang dismissal ng reklamong Violation of Securities Regulation Code (Republic Act No. 8799). Ibinasura naman noong February 12 ang syndicated estafa complaint.
"We thank the courts for clearing the name of Neri Miranda, who has unmistakably been falsely accused of wrongdoing in the Dermacare case. We hope that this issue will be put to rest as regards to Neri, so that instrumentalities of the law can focus on bringing the true perpetrators of the Dermacare scam to justice," pahayag ni Atty. Aureli Sinsuat ng FLO Attorneys-at-Law.
Noong March 4 naman ibinahagi rin ni Chito Miranda ang paglaya ng kanyang asawa sa mga alegasyon sa kanyang Instagram page.
Matatandaang inaresto ng mga pulis si Neri noong November 2024 dahil sa mga reklamong isinampa ng Dermacare investors. Ngunit pinalaya rin siya ng Pasay court dahil sa "procedural defect in the service of process."
