Aaron Davies as Mr World Philippines

Aaron Davies from Albay is part of the national men's handball team just like reigning Mr. Supranational Philippines 2026 Felipe Marasigan.

We have another national athlete that will represent the country in the international beauty pageant scene after Felipe Marasigan.

Aaron Davies won last weekend the title of Mr. World Philippines 2026. In case you didn't know, Aaron is a teammate of reigning Mr. Supranational Philippines Felipe Marasigan in the national men's team in handball.

In fact, they were part of the beach handball squad that competed in the 2026 Asian Beach Games held in Sanya, China last April.

Looking back on his journey, Aaron couldn't believe this great opportunity given to him. He wrote on his Instagram post, “Winning Mr. World Philippines is a blessing beyond anything I could have imagined, and I give you all the glory. Thank You for opening doors, giving me strength through every challenge, and reminding me that with faith, all things are possible.”

The beauty king from Albay also expressed his appreciation for his family for their unwavering support.

“To my mum and dad, thank you for your unconditional love, guidance, and sacrifices. You taught me the value of hardwork, humility, and perseverance. Thank you for reminding me to keep going when the road became difficult.”

As a member of the national team, Aaron gave a huge shootout to the Philippine Handball Federation for allowing him to compete in the Mr. World Philippines pageant. He added that it was a relief that he never had to choose from his responsibility as a player and joining the pageant.

“To the Philippine Handball Federation, Coach Jana Franquelli, Coach Jamel Pangandaman, and Manager RA Agatarap, thank you for helping me grow not only as an athlete but as a person. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to pursue both handball and pageantry, and for believing that I never had to choose between the two.

“Now it's time to represent the Philippines on the world stage. I hope you' ll continue to stand with me as I carry our flag with pride, purpose, and heart. This is no longer just my dream, it's ours. Remember to always choose to be kind. Maraming Salamat po!”
