Alden Richards wants to inspire people through his relief effort for Taal Volcano victims

Alden Richards also broke his silence on the hate comments that he received on social media.

Alden Richards received praises and positive remarks from the public and co-celebrities for his silent generosity of sending donations to the victims of Mt. Taal's eruption.

And finally, he shared some details about his relief effort during his contract signing with Embassy Whisky held at his own restaurant, Concha's Garden Café in Quezon City.

The Kapuso actor revealed that his intention was to help the Taal victims and inspire other people to send donations as well.

“Kasi the reason why ginawa ko po 'yun and pinagsikapang pumunta ay para maka-inspire din po ako ng ibang mga tao na regardless kung gaano ka-busy ng schedule,” he clarified.

“Kapag may mga taong nangangailan, kailangan itabi muna natin 'yung sarili natin to be with them para bigyan natin sila ng tulong at kalinga.

Asia's Multimedia Star also broke his silence on the hateful, disappointing comments he received online at the time of the Taal incident.

“Para sa akin po, since social media is a free medium, parang they have the right.

Alden shared that his house was actually affected by the Taal volcano eruption last January 12.

Alden announced that the two branches of Concha's Garden Café in Tagaytay City which he co-owns will reopen to the public starting January 31.

"Bale, nagsara po yung branch po namin sa Highlands and Cliffhouse since January 13 pero operational na po kami ng January 31, starting po ng katapusan," he said.
