Andrew to wife Jho: “I miss taking care of you, my love”
It was a bittersweet moment for versatile actor Andrew Schimmer this week as he marked the first birthday of his wife, Jorhomy Reiena Rovero (or Jho) who passed away last December 2022. She was 34.
Before her death, Jho suffered a severe asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest and a lack of oxygen in her brain. It kept her in the hospital for a very long time.
Andrew posted a photo of him and Jho in the hospital on Facebook last July 11 and wrote that he misses taking care of her.
He posted, “Happy Birthday mami mami it's your first birthday na Hindi ka namin kasama. I miss taking care of you my love. Madalas pag ganitong time sinasalubong na natin birthday mo...mukang ako nalang po ang gagawa nun ngaun.”
The couple has two children named Andrea and Xander.
Jho was buried on December 30, 2022 at the Marilao Memorial Garden in Lias, Marilao in Bulacan.
