Arashi reads The Battle of Monkey and Crab

'The Battle of Monkey and Crab' is the chosen story for the sixth episode of Arashi's Picturebook Storytime series.

Top Japanese idol group Arashi is back for the sixth episode of their online series Arashi Picturebook Storytime.

"Time really flies, no? Already the 6th episode," member Sho Sakurai remarks.

This time, the group will do a read-aloud of a Japanese folktale called "The Battle of Monkey and Crab."

It tells the story of a sly monkey who tricks a crab. The crab's offspring later take revenge on the monkey.

Masaki Aiba once again got his most dreaded role as the story's narrator. Jun Matsumoto will play the Crab and the Chestnut, while Kazunari Ninomiya will be the Wasp and the Mortar. Satoshi Ohno will be the Little Crabs and Sho Sakurai will play the Monkey.

They have also read Asian folktales like "The Adventures of Son Goku" and "Father" from Sumatra.
