Comedian Ate Gay gave an update on his health, clarifying that he is still undergoing treatment and has not yet been declared cancer-free.
In a Facebook post, Ate Gay, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, addressed supporters and shared that he continues to receive CyberKnife treatment and immunotherapy.
"Di pa po ako Cancer Free... nagsaCyberknife pa po ako at immuno therapy… but malakas na ako at nagkakalaman na ang aking pangangatawan," he wrote.
He also expressed gratitude for his improved condition and the people who have stood by him throughout his cancer journey.
"Salamat Lord Jesus sa pang araw-araw na buhay... napakasaya ko ka piling ang mga katrabaho, pamilya at madlang dabarkads," he added.
The update comes after Ate Gay recently revealed that doctors found another lump below his neck, near his shoulder, which was immediately treated using CyberKnife.
"Nakitaan ako ng bukol sa ibaba ng leeg ko malapit sa balikat na agad nila inagapan gamit ang CYBERKNIFE," he shared.
Despite continuing treatment, Ate Gay said his condition has not affected his energy and that his doctors have allowed him to continue performing.
"Di naman maapektuhan ang energy ko dahil dito, pinapayagan nila ako mag-perform ng bonggang bongga," he said.
Ate Gay also thanked his doctors and the medical team at Asian Hospital, as well as the people who continue to support him.
According to the CyberKnife website, the treatment is a robotic, non-invasive radiation therapy system that delivers highly targeted radiation to treat certain tumors and other medical conditions without surgery.
In September 2025, Ate Gay revealed on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Since then, he has shared several milestones in his recovery, including completing his radiation and chemotherapy sessions and reporting that the lump on his neck had flattened in previous health updates.
