Now that we are approaching the cold BER months -and are still in the midst of a pandemic--it's good to eat something comforting and healthy at the same time, just like the vegetable patola.

In a recent episode of 'Bright Side,' host Kara David and Kapuso actor-comedian Buboy Villar cooked up the delicious Misua Patola recipe.

If you want to recreate it, here are the ingredients you'll need:

patola
ground pork
garlic
onions
scallions
egg
flour
misua
fish sauce
salt

And here's the step-by-step procedure on how to cook Misua Patola:

1. Mix the ground pork with onions, scallions, egg, flour, salt, and pepper.
2. Form small meat balls from the mixture.
3. Sauté the garlic and green onions.
4. Add water and let it boil.\
5. Add pepper and put back the meatballs.
6. Add the patola and the misua.

Kara's cooking tip for this recipe is that you'll know when the misua is already cooked when it starts rising to the surface.
