Many in the showbiz industry are cheering on the statement of GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon during the grand contract signing between Kapuso Network and ABS-CBN, which sealed the partnership that allowed It's Showtime to air on Kapuso channel GTV last July 1.
In the historic entertainment event, Atty. Gozon declared, "Lahat ng iyan, siguro pwede na natin sabihin ngayon, without any fear of contradiction, na 'yung kompetisyon, o 'yung tinatawag ng mga media practioners na TV war is finally over,"
"At ang talagang makikinabang nito, of course, 'yung mga manonood, of course, nakikinabang din itong ABS at GMA."
One of those excited for this new chapter between GMA and ABS-CBN are the stars of the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Chariz Solomon, Analyn Barro, and Cheska Fausto shared their thoughts about the possibility of working with Kapamilya artists.
Chariz stated that this big change would give produce opportunities in the entertainment industry.
She said, “Siyempre, masaya kasi mas marami kaming work . Sa totoo lang, mas maraming ipon, mas maraming experiences, mas maraming taong magkakatrabaho.
“Sa totoo lang, mas maraming venue, mas maganda kasi maraming artista, maraming show. So, lahat magkakaroon ng trabaho.”
StarStruck alumna Analyn added, “I see it as an opportunity for us na magkakasama, building relationships. Building community, okay 'yun na wala ng ganun na TV war, TV war.”
Sparkada beauty Cheska Fausto, the newest Bubble Gang member, thinks it's good for the local entertainment industry that GMA-7 and ABS-CBN stand united.
She reasoned, "Kasi everyone is at peace and united sila. So, at the end of the day naman, kahit saang situation or scenario 'yan, we all want to understand each other and be there for each other. Kasi, at the end of the day. Tayo-tayo lang naman 'di ba and we all work in the same industry.”
