Sparkle comedian Bubo Villar on Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera: “Naramdaman ko kay Ate Yan-Yan na bunso [kapatid] niya ako."
Comedian and vlogger Buboy Villar reminisced the days that he played a sidekick to Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
The former Kapuso child star had the privilege to have worked with A-list actress in several TV series such as Darna, Dyesbel, and Amaya.
In an nterview with the Sparkle talent yesterday, June 21 at the GMA Network Center, Buboy stated that Marian really made him feel like a family saying, “Actually, hindi lang sa [pagiging] artista, pati sa pagiging bunso. Naramdaman ko kasi sa kaniya na bunsong kapatid niya ako. Ate ko talaga si Marian,”
He continued, “Malaki naitulong ni Ate Marian sa akin, hindi lang sa larangan ng pag-aartista kundi sa buhay, 'no? Kasi, naramdaman ko kay Ate Yan-Yan na bunso niya ako, ate ko siya. Marami ako natutunan sa kaniya pagdating sa respeto sa mga nakakatanda, kung paano gawin 'yung trabaho. Huwag mapressure sa lahat ng bagay."
Fans and viewers love Buboy because of his energy and confidence every time he appears on screen. The Kapuso comedian told GMANetwork.com that the wife of Dingdong Dantes really helped him a lot in boosting his self-esteem back then.
He explained, “Pagdating sa confidence, isa si Ate Yan-Yan na nag-boost sa akin para mailabas 'yung confidence na yan.”
“So malaki talaga tulong ni Ate Yan-Yan talaga, tsaka gusto ko lang sabihin na kahit mag-kumare kami, Ate Yan-Yan ko pa rin siya. ”
Buboy has two children with ex-partner Angillyn Gorens named Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael.
