Catch Me Out Philippines

The premiere of 'Catch Me Out Philippines' took Twitter by storm as netizens join in on guessing who is the amateur in a pool of professionals.

GMA Network's latest reality-game-talent show, Catch Me Out Philippines, made its premiere on Saturday, February 6, and it's earning some major brownie points from netizens and watchers alike.

The newest show recently earned the top spot in Twitter Philippines, gaining praise from netizens thanks to the world-class performances of the amateurs, stage and lighting design of the production team, as well as the opening numbers of its host, Jose Manalo, and celebrity spotters Kakai Bautista and Derrick Monasterio.

Here's what fans had to say about the show's premiere:

On Saturday, viewers were treated to the nines by amateurs Jan Maricar “Kaye” Catamping and Willard John Alcoran with their aerial silk dance and drag queen performances, respectively.

During the show, celebrity spotters Kakai Bautista, Derrick Monasterio, and guest Rhian Ramos debate who they thought was the amateur in a pool of professionals after each performance.

Celebrity catchers Kim de Leon, Lexi Gonzales, Betong Sumaya, Kyline Alcantara, LJ Reyes, Will Ashley, Klea Pineda, Donita Nose, Faye Lorenzo, and Mike Tan share their guesses through a polling system.

In the end, it was Kaye Catamping who proved to be the greatest pretender as she outvoted Will Alcoran into fooling the celebrity catchers as the professional during the episode, thus taking home the grand prize.

Prior to their show-stopping performances, the two trained under the watchful eye of their mentors before hitting the Catch Me Out Philippines stage.
