Most people found it practical to use bikes for their grocery runs or other errands, especially for short-distance travel.
On the other hand, others have used their bicycles to get to work or used it for their delivery service in their business, just like what Kapuso comedian John Feir did.
In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, John revealed that during the quarantine period, he has been busy with deliveries for their food business, The Backyard Grill N' Chill.
He even showed his customized Japanese bike and gave some bike-to-work safety tips.
According to John, here are the things you should do for a safe bike ride:
1) Always check your brakes.
2) Always grease the gears.
3) Install lights and reflectors.
4) Always wear your helmet and knee and elbow pads.
5) Practice defensive driving.
As an added tip, John said you'll be able to save a lot if you set up your own bike because you can choose the parts yourself, and at the same time, you'll have more control of how your bike is going to look like.
