Elijah Alejo continues to show that she's one of the most promising young actresses of her generation as she recently received an award for her excellence in her craft.

The Underage lead star was recognized as Most Outstanding Young Actress of the Year by the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards 2022.

In an Instagram story, the 18-year-old star posted a photo of herself with her award, and expressed her gratitude to Lord for her latest achievement.

Early this month, Elijah also received the Promising Teen Actress of the Year award at the 4th Philippine Faces of Success 2023.

In addition, the Kapuso star was hailed Most Remarkable TV Teen Actress of the Year by the Dakilang Filipino Awards in October, and bagged the Most Outstanding Teen Actress of the Year award as well as Star of the Night at the Asian Business Excellence Awards 2022 in September.

Aside from being a talented artist, Elijah also excels in her studies. In August, she earned an Academic Excellence Award with Honors for School Year 2021-2022 from Manila Central University.

Meanwhile, Elijah is one of the lead stars in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series Underage, where she will portray the role of Chynna Serrano.
