Eraserheads reunion concert to sell only 50,000 tickets

The Eraserheads reunion concert tickets will be available on October 5. However, there will only be a limited number of tickets that will be sold.

On the concert's “Huling El Bimbo” Facebook page, they announced that only 50,000 tickets will be available for sale.

“May milyon-milyong Eraserheads fans, pero 50,000 lang ang makakasama namin sa Huling El Bimbo Concert 2022. Isa ka ba sa kanila?” the page wrote.

The iconic band will be having their reunion concert on December 22, 2022, at the SMDC Festival Grounds as an early Christmas gift to fans.

Eraserheads are best known for songs Ligaya, Alapaap, Pare Ko, and Ang Huling El Bimbo (for which their concert is named after), among others.

In a more recent post, the page also posted the different locations where fans can buy tickets and payment methods accepted for each location. As of writing though, no ticket prices have been announced yet.

However, netizens are quick to request ticket prices, saying that they hope the prices will be “pang masa.” Others, meanwhile, are requesting the prices so that they can prepare or save up to buy tickets.

Some fans also noted incidents of ticket hoarding and voiced their hopes that there will be a rule where a person can only buy a certain amount of tickets. Others, meanwhile, are asking to have online buying of tickets to avoid having to line up.

Fans earlier speculated that a reunion concert is going to happen after members of the band Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raymund Marasigan posted the same photo of a stylized letter “E” on their respective social media accounts.

After much speculation, the band's frontman Ely confirmed the band's reunion concert by Tweeting their concert poster with the date and venue.

Eraserheads had their last reunion concert on March 7, 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds dubbed “The Final Set.”
