Rica Peralejo gives update on son Manu after accident, says she's still not okay

Actress and vlogger Rica Peralejo is still recovering from the medical emergency involving her youngest son Manu, who figured in a horrible accident.

On June 30, the wife of Pastor Joseph Bonifacio gave a detailed account of how Manu accidentally sliced his fingers.

In a separate post a few days after the incident, Rica admitted that it was extra scary for her and she felt helpless during the situation.

“Okay na siya ako hindi pa!

“We really only live under the mercy of God. All of us. No exception.

“It is extra scary that an accident would happen somewhere that is not familiar. I felt extra helpless.

“Which made the menudo na pinadala sakin ng asawa ko from my brother's house such a comforting thing. Ang sarap pala ng menudo sa gitna ng madugong aksidenteng ginagamot sa isang emergency room in North America.”

Rica went on to thank everyone who comforted her and prayed for her family.

“Gusto mo pala talagang ikaw na lang ang masaktan kaysa sa anak mo.

“Thanks to the many moms who shared their stories. Some of them also still in the middle of their children's healing. May God comfort all of us! Thank you also sa lahat ng nagdasal for us."

Rica's family has been stranded in the United States since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused massive disruptions to air travel around the globe.

They even had to celebrate Manu's first birthday there last June 9.
