The past few days have been a rough one for preggy mom and former StarStruck finalist Nadine Samonte.

The 33-year-old actress revealed to the public on August 3 that her husband Richard Chua and daughter Heather Sloane would be undergoing some medical procedures - an eye surgery for Heather and angiogram for her husband Richard - all happening in the same week.

Fortunately, Nadine's husband is doing well after his procedure.

Richard delivered the good news on Instagram that his angiogram was perfectly done to the delight of their closest friends in show business, too.

“To God be the glory! Just finished my Angiogram. Everything was perfect! No blockages, no stents needed. I trusted myself to papa Jesus and look what happened 🙌 AMEN & AMEN thank u to my kumpare Doc Miranda who runs the Cath Lab here at Cardinal Santos! There is no better doctor than him I swear. Highly Recommended.”

According to mayoclinic.org, an angiogram is a procedure that uses X-ray imaging to see your heart's blood vessels. The test is generally done to see if there's a restriction in blood flow going to the heart.

Mommy Nadine shared on social media the health struggle of her husband and why he needed another angiogram this year.

“Today was another difficult day why? My husband had his angiogram , I know the feeling because this happened last 6 yrs ago and to our surprise he had so many blockages that time kaya nagkaroon na sya ng stents and na angioplasty na sya before kaya yung stress level ko was very high kasi I was thinking na baka malagyan ulit sya or my makita nnmn na hindi namin magusthn (pero sympre andn pa din ako sa postive side na wala un , hindi kami pababayaan) and thank God everything was clear daw even his stents before was very nice nakakaiyak Thank you to Dr. Miranda dahil hindi mo pinapabayaan si Richard. God is really good to us tlga.”

She also discussed the condition of her daughter who was diagnosed with alternating exotropia.

“My daughter was diagnosed with Alternating Exotropia both eyes and needs surgery to correct it habang bata pa because it's becoming worse and naaapektuhan na ang activities nya.”

The celebrity mom was beaming with pride that Heather was so strong throughout the whole process.

Nadine added, “She is so strong and I'm so proud of her. She is still in the stage of recovering right now. Thank you to Dra. Roque for taking care of our daughter. The next day it's my check-up naman and Thank God kasi everything went well even our baby was so okay.”

Aside from Heather, she also has a son named Austin Titus who was born in April 2019.

Before ending her Instagram post, Nadine, who was feeling emotional, thanked everyone who supported her family amid this difficult condition they are in.

For her, the prayers of other people did wonders and why everything turned out okay.

She posted, “Finally I can say that we made it. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for all your prayers, care and love sa family namin. Your messages mean a lot hindi ko man narerplayan lahat pero nababasa ko po isa isa. Each and everyone of you made us stronger.

“Thank you so much hindi ko man kayo kilala pero nageffort kayo to message me, nakakaiyak , nakakatouch thank you po sa lahat. And to everyone na may pinagdadaanan na din ngyn i pray for you to be strong, i pray for complete healing, I pray for love, I pray for happiness, for good health, for more work and for peace. “Thank you for helping this MAMA to get up and be stronger than before. From our family to yours thank you again so much. Prayers work tlga lalo na pag madaming nagsasama-sama. Hindi tayo pababayaan ni Lord. To everyone pls be safe lalo na maglockdown tayo ulit and may God Bless all your good heart and your whole family. Always spreading love, peace and healing to everyone.”
