Aniya, "2 yrs ago I was faced with one of the most difficult setbacks of my life.

“At the gym, I was lifting my heaviest..more than my weight.

“I felt on top of the world successfully doing back-to-back squats, deadlifts & benchpresses.

“I received so much compliments for my form, so much so that I was offered to compete.

“I fell in love with power lifting & I was already seriously considering competing.”

Patuloy niya, "Eventually, I was given the go signal to continue training alone.

"Everything was fine. I was even levelling up.

"Those little achievements everyday gave me so much fulfillment that I forgot to listen to the reminders of the people around me & most especially, listen to my body.

"I was doing a soap that time & lacked sleep but I didn't slow down."

Paglalahad ni Andrea, "Then the unthinkable happened... I injured my spine - real bad.

“You can just imagine how devastated I was.

“All of a sudden, I - who was so in control of my body - felt so lost.

“Nothing seemed to work anymore & I had no idea where to start.

“There were so many restrictions.

“I thought I'd never be able to go back to my active lifestyle.”

"Then this girl came to the rescue… This is Coach Chloe. Coincidentally, she's also a PT.

“Slowly,we built my strength back. She was so patient with me.

"I wasn't able to get a lot of things done at first.

"She modified the exercises to make sure we wouldn't put unnecessary strain on my back & when there was no more discomfort, we started adding new challenges. Little by little," sabi ni Andrea.

"Now, I'm so happy to be back!I can lift again!” ani Andrea.

“It may not be as extreme as before but just holding a bar again is a big deal for me. I think getting a Coach is very much like finding a soulmate. Haha.

“It's true!!!There's this connection.

“Someone who is as determined as you to achieve your goals (esp when you feel like you can't do that last rep anymore)

“This is an appreciation post for @chloellima30 who's been giving so much more than what her job requires & does so with sincerity..and she never even asks credit for it.THANK YOU.”

"To more goals met & hopefully, heavier weights.

“Remember, you can always bounce back. Hard work will always, ALWAYS, be rewarded.

“Just make sure that the same energy you give to push yourself, you must also give to take care of yourself," pahayag niya.
