Can 'Voltes V: Legacy' star Ysabel Ortega guess what a pencil has to do with a cassette tape? Watch this and other generation tests in this 'Mars Pa More' exclusive.

Mariko Ledesma of the Gen Dolls is part of the GTV's newest Sunday night game show Game of the Gens.

In her recent guest appearance on Mars Pa More, Mariko took viewers backstage and challenged celebrity guests and Game of the Gens hosts Andre Paras and Sef Cadayona to an ultimate generation test.

During her interview with hosts Iya Villania and Camille Prats, Mariko talked about what the newest game show on GTV is all about.

Mariko said, “Kulitan po to the max ang mangyayari dito sa 'Game of the Gens' dahil iba-ibang generations po ang kine-cater namin.

“Meron tayong mga millennials at meron po tayong mga sinaunang tao. Charot. (laughs)”

So, to give a taste of the fun that people can expect from Game of the Gens, Mariko gave Mars Pa More a special backstage access and challenged celebrity guests and hosts to a fun generation test that will not only reveal which generation one person belongs to, but also bridge the gap between different generations.

The first pair of celebrities to take on the challenge is Voltes V: Legacy star Ysabel Ortega and her uncle, actor Robert Ortega.

For Ysabel's challenge, Mariko took out a cassette tape and a pencil and asked if Ysabel knew how those two things are related, or more specifically, what purpose the pencil serves for the cassette tape.

As for Ysabel's tito, Robert Ortega, Mariko asked if he know how to use the Gen Z term “shookt” in a sentence.

The next pair of celebrity guests that took on the generation test challenge backstage is the mother and daughter tandem of Tina Paner and Shane Paner.

For their challenge, Tina showed Shane a number of rubber bands and asked her daughter what those are used for and Shane, on the other hand, asked her mom what the slang word “lit” means.

And finally, Mariko challenged Game of the Gens hosts Andre Paras and Sef Cadayona by showing them an old photo of legendary singer Pilita Corrales and asking them to name the celebrity in the photo.
