The inaugural Miss Grand International All Stars has begun!
The Philippines made a strong impression during the “Welcome All The Stars To Bangkok” opening ceremony held Tuesday night in Thailand.
Hosting the event was CJ Opiaza, the country's first-ever Miss Grand International titleholder, who welcomed candidates from around the world as the competition formally kicked off.
More than 50 delegates took the stage in swimwear before dazzling audiences with glittering runway looks during the first pasarela showcase of the competition.
Representing the Philippines in the pageant are Sparkle's very own Gazini Ganados, Imelda Schweighart, Fuschia Ravena, Alexia Nuñez, and Keylyn Trajano.
During the ceremony, organizers also introduced the panel of judges and unveiled the competition's scoring system as candidates strutted down the runway in various swimwear ensembles.
Unlike the regular Miss Grand International competition, the All Stars edition is open to women and trans women who have previously joined international beauty pageants.
The reigning queen of the standard Miss Grand International is Filipina beauty queen Emma Tiglao.
The coronation night for the inaugural Miss Grand International All Stars is set on May 30 in Thailand.
