Gladys Reyes on her Papa Sonyer: "His absence is going to be hard”

Versatile TV-movie actress Gladys Reyes admitted on Instagram that the death of her 66-year-old father, Sonyer Reyes, is difficult for her to take. He passed away on October 25, 2021.

In her Instagram post on Sunday, November 7, the Pepito Manaloto star poured her heart out and shared that she had to be strong for her family since she is the eldest.

Gladys posted, “Tribute to my Papa...

“It's been two weeks, since we lost our solid rock, our beloved Papa Sonyer. I had to gather myself together, as his eldest, I have to be strong for my Mama...for my family. God has been good to us.”

She added that with the death of Sonyer, Father's Day will never be the same again.

“I would like to share this special video of my Papa that I made with sweat, tears and sleepless nights.

“It is true what they say, as days go by, we miss him terribly. I know God has other plans.

“But Fathers day will never be the same again.”

Moreover, Gladys also uploaded a 10-minute tribute video so that people will know what an amazing father Sonyer was to his family.

“On this video, you'll get to know him as a person, husband, father and as a grandfather. He's indeed, a faithful servant of God. His time was well spent.

“Compiled my papa's favorite songs too (no copyright infringement intended).”

She then continued, “I am and forever a Papa's girl, his absence is going to be hard but I know my Papa wants me to move forward.

“You have accomplished your mission Pa! We are proud of you!!

“Here's my labor of love...”
