
GMA Network continues to deliver excellence in the field of public service and entertainment as various Kapuso programs earned coveted recognitions at the 44th Catholic Mass Media Awards.
Established in 1978, the award-giving body promotes a “values-filled mass media” in various fields of communication such as advertising, print, radio, television, film, and many more.
For television, GMA Synergy's Stronger Together, Buo ang Puso: NCAA Season 97 bagged the Best Children and Youth Program, while Wish Ko Lang, hosted by Vicky Morales, was hailed as Best Drama Series/Program.
GMA's late-night newscast Saksi was awarded Best News Program, while 24 Oras's extensive coverage on Super Typhoon Odette in 2021 received the honor for Best Special Event Coverage.
The Kapuso Network's 2021 Christmas Station ID titled “Love Together, Hope Together” earned the award for Best Station ID.
In the radio category, the morning program One-on-One Walang Personalan was hailed as Best News Commentary, while Super Balita sa Umaga Nationwide earned the honor for Best News Program.
The Best Public Service Program, on the other hand, was conferred to Serbisyo on the Spot, while Barangay Love Stories was recognized as Best Entertainment Program.
GMA's Limitless: A Musical Trilogy: Breathe was cited for Best Digital Ad - Public Service.
Various Kapuso programs also received special citations in the CMMA, including IJuander as Best Adult Educational/Cultural Program and the top-rating primetime show First Lady as Best Drama Series/Program.
The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews and Year of the Superhero were both recognized as Best TV Specials. The Best Public Service TV Program was awarded to GMA Regional TV Live!
For radio, Bahay at Buhay Kasama si Lala Roque received the honor for Best News Feature, while Sumasapuso kasama si Toni Aquino was hailed as Best Entertainment Program.
Meanwhile, GMA News and Public Affairs' Dapat Totoo campaign was cited for Best TV Ad - Public Service.
