EXCLUSIVE: Rocco Nacino underscores proper practice of anti-COVID-19 guidelines

Descendants of the Sun Ph star Rocco Nacino related recently his insights on the (2019) Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) that is not only prevalent in the Philippines but in other countries as well.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Rocco shared that he maintains his composure amid COVID-19 occurrence that has already affected some Filipino and non-Filipino residents residing in the country.

“Lahat tayo may views and opinions but then it's really how you take care of yourself. Basta manatili kang mataas ang immune system. Alagaan mo 'yung sarili mo.

“Ako, natutulog ako kapag kailangan ko talaga, at least eight hours of sleep. I take my vitamins, pinipilit ko na mapawisan ako para talagang malakas ang resistensiya ko,” he said.

Then, in a bid to ease the panic and fear the public has been facing lately, the actor-turned reservist also related that there's nothing much to worry about if the public is properly taking care of themselves.

Rocco likewise related that following Department of Health's (DOH) guidelines on how to prevent contracting COVID-19 should be observed.

“Sinusunod ko rin na basta-basta hindi makipag-shake ng hands. Walang beso-beso muna, hi hello muna. Sumusunod ako sa mga binibigay na guidelines ng DOH na 'wag pumunta sa mga contained areas.

“For me, 'yun ang pinaka importante na dapat mong gawin - hindi basta-basta pumunta sa mga contained areas na posible kang mahawa,” he shared.

Meanwhile, in a bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease, the Philippine government has put in place a Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine effective March 17, in conjunction with the suspension of all mass transportation to restrict people from loitering in the streets. No one will be allowed to take the MRT, LRT, PNR, jeeps, UV Express vans, and tricycles. Only private vehicles of people exempted from the travel restriction will be allowed on the roads.
