Veteran actress Cherie Gil is encouraging netizens to practice introspection while observing the enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19.

Cherie encouraged her followers to engage in a meditative practice by asking themselves, “What things are truly in my control? How can I use this time wisely to advance my health, beliefs, purpose, and contribution to humanity? What lessons am I learning from this experience? What better version of myself do I see emerging from this time of quarantine?”

Indeed the actress took advantage of her staying at home by reflecting and discovering herself better.

She related, “I've realized many things I have taken for granted in the past and since my self imposed quarantine, I have been able to step up to the plate and do better for myself and others, using this time to be more proactive. Taking better care of my health with a discipline of a routine I have always wanted to instill but never was able to because of an erratic work schedule, touching ground and feeling the earth in my hands , while tending and seeing my seeds I've planted grow, learning to cook for everyone in the household , serving and helping each other in which ever way each day calls for and just simply feeling grateful for friends , family and the beauty of nature that surrounds us. Knowing that all are blessings which I need to care for much better from here on :-). God saves.”

Perhaps now is a good time to ask ourselves these questions.
