John Lloyd Cruz, Ellen Adarna ask for compliance of COVID-19 policies in Cebu City

The University of the Philippines-Medical Alumni Society Cebu Chapter shared videos from John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna about the safety precautions needed to prevent COVID-19.

In one video, John Lloyd urged Cebuanos to wear face masks, wash hands properly, stay home, and practice social distancing.

He said, "No more excuses, magsuot po tayo ng face mask. Maghugas lagi ng mga kamay.

"Manatili po tayo sa ating mga bahay. At kung kinakailangan pong lumabas, sundin po ang social distancing."

In another video, Ellen taught Cebuanos the right way to wear a face mask.

"Because I care about you, I wear a face mask," Ellen said in Cebuano.

"Your hands should be clean before putting on a face mask. Make sure your nose and mouth are properly covered.

"When removing a face mask, make sure your hands are also clean and avoid touching the front part of the mask."

Despite rumors of separation after reportedly dating, both John Lloyd and Ellen are currently based in Cebu. They are in a co-parenting status for son, Elias Modesto.
