GMA Network continues to set the bar high for Philippine entertainment, as it brings the newest original Pinoy game show, The People Have Spoken.
Premiering this June 6, the program is hosted by the unexpected yet perfectly-matched duo of Global Fashion Icon Heart Evangelista and Sparkle star Sean Lucas.
The People Have Spoken is a high-energy game show that captures how much Filipinos love to talk, discuss, and share their two cents on just about anything—except now, their two cents could turn into thousands of pesos!
100 studio audience members, also known as the People, are asked about various issues. After locking in their answers, two pairs of celebrity contestants must guess the People's most popular opinions. Ok lang bang magsama kahit hindi kasal? Sino dapat ang nagbabayad sa first date? (Is cohabitation acceptable? Who pays for the first date?) All these relatable topics and just about anything under the sun might come up in the survey questions!
After two rounds of intense guessing, the celebrity pair who best reads the pulse of the People will win and take home the jackpot prize! Home viewers can also participate and win by watching the show and answering one question in the People Panalo Promo.
But what makes the game even more unique is how it puts the spotlight on the voices behind the answers. The People and celebrity players get to explain their opinions. Thus, real and engaging conversations are part of the game.
Viewers must also watch out for their favorite artists who might join the show as Celebripeeps. Their role is to keep the energy high and the dialogue flowing, stepping in with their own takes on the issues.
