John Arcilla's words of wisdom to young stars: "Hanapin mo sa sarili mo 'yung isang bagay na ikaw lang makakagawa.”

John Arcilla, the lead star from the historical film ‘Heneral Luna,’ gave advice to today’s young stars during the press conference of his newest TV project That’s My Amboy.

He started, “Siguro lang, sa ngayon, sa sobrang daming gustong mag-artista, minsan lulubog lilitaw. Ang bilis ng artista, ang bilis nawawala. Siguro lang 'pag nag-uumpisa ka, you have to work on, well, be yourself, but of course, make a mark.”
The actor elaborated, “Ano 'yung kakaiba sa iyo? Kasi maraming maganda, maraming guwapo, and every other three months napapalitan sila. So, ‘make a mark.’ Hanapin mo sa sarili mo 'yung isang bagay na ikaw lang makakagawa, or mag-ma-mark sa lahat ng audience, na magsisilbing staying power [mo].”
