Jessica Villarubin reveals how her hopes and dreams made her a confident and empowered woman.

Jessica Villarubin, the grand champion of The Clash season 3 is all over social media because of her story of triumph and her metamorphosis

In the exclusive feature of Village Pipol, Jessica shared her story as a breadwinner from Cebu who flew to Manila to chase her dreams of becoming a performer.

Because of her perseverance and immense talent, Jessica was hailed as the grand champion of the third season of The Clash. But, her story continued when she pursued her dream to enhance her looks to boost her confidence.

According to Jessica, getting beauty treatments and enhancements should not be criticized. She said, “If you want to enhance your beauty and if it makes you feel good, then do it. As long as wala kang tinatapakan na ibang tao. And, whenever I feel confident, it improves my craft in singing.”

The feature also showcased how Dra. Vicki Belo and Mark Anthony Rosales helped improve Jessica's looks. According to Jessica, she was pleased with how Dra. Belo and Mark helped her gain her confidence.

“It turned out to be a collaborative effort po. Sinabi ko 'yung gusto ko ipa-improve. Then, may mga suggestion din si Dra. Vicky Belo. And, okay naman po ako kasi siya yung mas nakakaalam kung ano 'yung bagay para sa akin… I feel more confident. And, happy po ako sa naging resulta.”

She also admitted receiving advice from the two and according to Jessica, both emphasized the importance of humility.

“Actually, same po silang dalawa ng advice na binigay sa akin. To always keep my feet on the ground. Kung maganda ang panlabas, importante pa rin na maganda ang kalooban. And, to always pray.”
