Kakai Bautista

Kakai's prayer asked for “faith, strength and healing” during these uncertain times.

Kakai Bautista turned to prayers to celebrate her special day.

The comedienne celebrated her 43rd birthday on Thursday (September 2), posting a prayer and asking her followers to pray with her.

“We pray that our loved-ones, family, relatives, friends, colleagues, will be resilient, safe and will always be in good health,” wrote Kakai.

She also asked for “faith, strength and healing” for those who lost a loved one and the people who are “sick and suffering” at the moment.

It can be recalled that Kakai herself is a COVID-19 survivor. She learned about her condition on August 28 last year after undergoing a swab test for an event. Kakai was given a clean bill of health on September 11.

Kakai ended her Instagram post with the words, “They say Life is short! I say, NO! Life is only short when you don't LIVE it!”

Meanwhile, Kakai's celebrity friends extended their greetings to the birthday girl on the comments section of her post.

Some of those who greeted Kakai were Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza de Castro, seasoned actress Dawn Zulueta, fellow comedienne Pokwang, singer Lani Misalucha, Geneva Cruz, and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.

Kakai's co-stars in the hit series First Yaya also left a comment including Cassy Legaspi and lead star, Sanya Lopez.
