Multi-awarded actor and host Dingdong Dantes has solidified his ties and loyal commitment to the GMA Network which has been his home for so many years, through a contract renewal signing today, May 9.

During the said event, Dingdong expressed his utmost gratitude for the next chapter ahead of his career, citing GMA Network's unwavering support of his craft as an artist.

The signing ceremony was attended by the network's key executives, namely GMA Network Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, GMA Network's Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President, Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo, and Executive Vice President of GMA Pictures Nessa Valdellon.

Dingdong's talent manager, President and CEO of PPL Entertainment Perry Lansigan was also present during the contract signing.

Throughout his career, Dingdong has consistently proven his commitment to providing quality content and building connections with the Filipino audience. Since its debut in 2021, his show Family Feud on GMA has always brought joy to the viewers. He also shares knowledge about biodiversity through the program Amazing Earth. Last year, his recent film with his wife, Marian Rivera, titled Rewind, became the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time. This film also earned them the FAMAS' Bida Sa Takilya Award.

Recently, Dingdong was named as the new member of the Board of Trustees of Mowelfund, or Movie Workers Welfare Foundation, Incorporated, which provides welfare services, particularly to the marginalized workers in the Philippine film industry.

In addition to his duty as an actor, Dingdong is also committed to serving the Filipino people as a Philippine Navy reservist. In March 2024, Dingdong received a certificate of completion of the Naval Combat Engineer Officer Basic Course during their graduation rites at the Philippine Navy Seabees Headquarters.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Dingdong said, “Mahalaga talaga para sa akin ang kahit anong opportunity para makapaglingkod sa ating bayan and for me, my way is one, through my work in GMA and second, by becoming a volunteer as a reservist through the organization na AFP [Armed Forces of the Philippines].”

As Dingdong Dantes begins this new chapter with GMA Network, he is ready to continue making significant contributions to the industry and inspire audiences for years to come.
