Multi-national girl group KATSEYE couldn't hide their smiles as they received a warm welcome from their Filipino EYEKONS during their "Touchdown in Manila" fan showcase in Taguig City.

The venue was packed with excited fans eager to finally meet their favorite girl group. Upon seeing the enthusiastic crowd, KATSEYE was both shocked and delighted by the warm reception from their supporters.

"Thank you so, so much for everything. I'm so, so sad that I have to leave [and] I wanna stay here. We all do, we really want to. I hope we will be back so soon and perform with you guys again. Thank you so much for the energy. You guys are amazing," Manon expressed to the fans.

The group reciprocated the energy by performing their hit songs "Debut," "My Way," and "Touch."

Among the attendees were notable OPM artists like SB19's Pablo, Maki, YGIG's Alexei, and PLUUS members Haro and JL, all there to support KATSEYE.

Fans took to social media to share their excitement about the fan showcase, trending the hashtag #KATSEYEinManila on X (formerly Twitter) throughout the day.

In addition to the showcase, KATSEYE brought their fun and energy to the noontime program It's Showtime. They not only met fans but also enjoyed interacting with the hosts and even participated in a dance challenge for their song "Touch" with everyone in the studio.

In an interview with GMA Integrated News, the group reflected on their rising global fame.

"With all these busy schedules, like it's so crazy, but we still manage the fun out of it. It's a lot like lessons learned and like little things, 'Oh! We should try this one.' We're fighting a little like tips and tricks," Sophia shared. "It really opens up a new audience of people and it's been crazy. We're so grateful," Lara added.

KATSEYE was formed through the survival reality show The Debut: Dream Academy, managed by Geffen Records and K-pop label HYBE. They debuted on June 28, 2024, with their single “Debut” and have quickly gained international popularity with their latest release, "Touch."

The six-member group consists of Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae, showcasing a diverse lineup from the United States, Switzerland, Korea, and the Philippines, which adds to their captivating appeal.
