Kelvin Miranda feels blessed for earning his second endorsement project in his four years in show business.

The Kapuso actor was recently introduced as the face of Japan-made Vitamin C, Kaizen C, by beauty and wellness supplements brand Aqua Skin.

Kelvin is the first male endorser of the brand which is also endorsed by his fellow GMA artists Julie Anne San Jose and Max Collins.

"Hindi lang immune system 'yung binu-boost nila sa 'kin pati na rin 'yung kompiyansa ko kasi talagang nagpapasalamat ako sa tiwalang binigay nila sa 'kin at ako 'yung napili nila para bigyan ng ganitong klaseng endorsement kasi international brand.

"Saka, siyempre, kauna-unahang lalaking endorser, siyempre, parang nakaka-flatter at the same time. Sobrang grateful and thankful po na binigay nila sa 'kin 'yung oportunidad na ito," Kelvin told select entertainment reporters in a pocket press conference last July 7 at Pandan Asian Café in Quezon City.

For Kelvin, the endorsement is very timely as he counts on supplements to take care of his health because of the demands of his job as an actor.

He juggles between doing movies, GTV sitcom Tols, and, soon, a teleserye with Kate Valdez titled Unica Hija.

"Bukod sa sinusubukan kong matulog sa oras 'pag may free time ako, nagte-take ako ng supplements. Magaan talaga s'ya sa pakiramdam ko at komportable talaga 'ko, as in.

"Nararamdaman ko 'yung dinadala n'ya sa 'king tulong lalo na energy lalo sa trabaho ko, 'yun 'yung unang-unang pangangailangan ko.

"Sinusubukan ko talagang matulog sa tamang oras kapag may free time pero ang hirap e, pero since nga iyong Aquan Skin Kaizen C, hindi lang s'ya vitamins talaga. Basta 'pag nakaka-take ako, kumakalma din ako at the same time, naibibigay n'ya 'yung tamang supplements sa katawan ko ibig sabihin.

"So nagte-take lang ako nito everyday at tamang pagkain, tamang pahinga."

Aside from boosting his immune system, Kelvin said the Vitamin C supplement also helped in easing his depression and anxiety. Last year, he was diagnosed with bipolar one disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He shared, "Ako po kasi gawa nga sa taping laging puyat, laging pagod, naghahanap ako ng best supplements for Vitamin C for me lalo na pandemic pa rin, hindi pa rin talaga tayo tapos sa pinagdaranan natin so kailangan natin maghanda internally.

"Kumbaga, kailangan natin pangalagaan 'yung kalusugan natin so perfect for myself 'yung Vitamin C na 'to. Hindi lang kasi sy'a vitamins so marami s'yang naitutulong lalo na sa depression, anxiety lalo na sa trabaho ko 'pag stressed so nakakagaan talaga s'ya ng pakiramdam at nakakapagbigay talaga s'ya ng suporta sa energy which is 'yun 'yung pangangailangan ko sa trabaho ko."

Kelvin, now 23, started acting in 2016. He earned his first lead role via 2019 Netflix movie, Dead Kids.

In 2021, Kelvin rose in popularity after starring in GTV drama romantic fantasy The Lost Recipe, opposite Mikee Quintos.
