
Following the news of Park Ji-sun and her mother's untimely death, several Korean idols have paid respects to the late comedian by posting tributes on their respective social media accounts.
On Twitter, K-pop boy group Super Junior announced that they would be adjusting their content schedule for their upcoming single “The Melody” out of respect for Park Ji-sun.
“Starting from tomorrow, the content related to Super Junior's 15th debut anniversary pre-release song 'The Melody,' which was scheduled to be released sequentially, will be postponed,” it said.
“We ask for fans' deep understanding.”

SHINee member Key posted a photo of the late comedian and wished her eternal peace in heaven.
He wrote, “Thank you, always. I'm sorry that I couldn't express it with all my heart, but I pray for you to be at peace now.”
Meanwhile, radio DJ and comedian Ahn Young-mi stopped midway during her radio show to mourn the loss of her dear friend.
Ahn Young-mi and Park Ji-sun worked together on a KBS show titled Gag Concert.
MBC later confirmed that Ahn Young-mi had to leave the broadcast because she could not host the show after hearing the news.
Park Ji-sun was a popular comedian and actress who rose to fame in the early 2000s.
Because of her wit and optimistic personality, she is loved by many Koreans. She often noted the importance of self-love.
Park Ji-sun once said, “If I can be born again, I want to be born as myself. I never thought I was ugly. I always thought I had a unique charm because I'm the only one with this face in the world.”
She and her mother's lifeless bodies were found in their home on November 2, 2020. Park Ji-sun was 35 years old.
Before her death, Park Ji-sun had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed medical condition. While the cause of her death is currently unknown, the Mapo Police Department said it is likely a case of suicide.
