Rocco Nacino shed tears of joy as he proudly announced yet another achievement in his long list of awards.

At the Manila International Open 2017: IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship, all of the dedication, focus, and training Rocco poured into the martial art proved to be fruitful as he bagged the gold medal of the tournament.

"You know it's true what they say, if you put your heart to it, You'll achieve whatever goal you have," captioned the actor.

In the competition, the Encantadia actor bested other Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes from all over Asia, "It was a good day today. Beat fighters from Guam, Taiwan and Korea to bag my first @ibjjf International Gold medal."

He also took the time to show his gratitude towards his coaches and teammates. Rocco offers his victory to his "Nanay" who recently passed away.

"Thank you to our coaches and teammates for being there for us! Good day of competing and bonding with friends. This is a milestone in my journey in this beautiful art of Jiu Jitsu! Oss! Para sa iyo ito, Nanay!"

After his big win, Rocco took his family out to celebrate.
