But now, Ernie is suffering from hemophilia, a rare disease of the blood. And all of his earnings go to his medication. Kapuso Star and certified entre-Pinoy Monica Verallo visits Ernie at his tailoring shop for a wonderful surprise. His old and rusty sewing machines will be replaced by two brand new machines. Cloth and thread worth ten thousand pesos are also waiting for his newly painted shop and a tailoring lesson was prepared for him by no less than one of Philippine fashion's most respected pillars, Rene Salud.
