Gloria Romero's daughter Martiess Gutierrez also expressed her appreciation for her mother's fans and followers.

Filipino movie fans who want to pay their respects to an icon of Philippine show business will now have an opportunity to do so after Gloria Romero's daughter shared the public viewing schedule for fans of the Queen of Philippines Cinema.

In a Facebook post, Maritess Gutierrez announced that the public viewing of Gloria Romero's body will be held on January 27 and 28, Monday and Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The viewing will be held at Hall A of Arlington Memorial Chapel, Araneta Avenue in Quezon City. Maritess also expressed her appreciation for the “support, prayers, sympathy” for the “lovely messages” and “heartfelt condolences” left by her mother's fans and followers.

Fans aren't the only ones mourning the passing of Gloria Romero. In an Instagram Story, the Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward uploaded an image of Gloria Romero along with a broken heart emoji. Jillian and Gloria Romero previously worked together in Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko. Jillian has also previously shared that Gloria Romero was her “ultimate idol”.



Barbie Forteza has also expressed her grief at Gloria Romero's passing, posting on social media site X that she is heartbroken.

“This is so heartbreaking. Buong buhay ko pong ipagmamalaki na nakatrabaho ko po kayo. Rest in paradise, Ms. Gloria Romero,” she wrote as a caption to a photo of the acclaimed actress.

Gloria Romero passed away yesterday, January 25, with Widows' War actress Lovely Rivero breaking the news on her social media post. In the caption of her post, Lovely wrote: “Rest well our Movie Queen, Tita Gloria Romero. Praying for the repose of her soul and for strength for @chefmgutierrez, Chris, and the whole family during this difficult time.”

Gloria Romero's career spans more than 70 years, tackling different roles that have been followed by her fans and Filipino viewers. One of her last projects with the Kapuso Network was the children's fantasy anthology series Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko, where she played Lola Goreng.

The Filipino-American actress' real name is Gloria Anne Borrego Galla Gutierrez and she was born on December 16, 1933. She has been in the industry for more than 70 years and has been in more than 200 films.
