Michael Flores emphasizes "common sense" in calling off classes due to current flooding.

Filipino actor Michael Flores calls out local authorities over what he described as delayed class suspensions amid flooding in cities.

In a social media post, The Master Cutter actor shared his frustrations after seeing students and parents struggle with the late announcements.

"Classes are suspended, AGAIN! Utang na loob mga LGUs, common sense na lang! Kagabi pa malakas ang ulan! Dapat kagabi pa lang, cancelled na mga classes!" he wrote.

Michael also recalled how previous classes were suspended only after students had already arrived at school, causing difficulties for the young ones and their parents.

"Last week, ilang beses na kayo pumalpak sa pag-suspend ng classes! Kung kelan nasa schools na mga bata, doon kayo mag-suspend! Sobrang hassle samin mga magulang na nagsusundo at hatid sa mga anak namin sa school, tapos baha pa sa labas! Paayos niyo muna mga flood control projects niyo na palpak!"

Michael is among the celebrities who have used their platforms to raise awareness and express their views regarding the flooding situation in the country.
